Cleaning for West Sussex Hospital Catering Facilities
In July, we were excited to take on a commercial cleaning contract that combined two of our specialist areas –– healthcare and catering facilities.
When the kitchens and restaurants at both Chichester and Worthing Hospital needed a deep clean, our health and safety savvy team were happy to help.
Luna Clean kitchens
In tandem, we deep cleaned the catering facilities in St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, and Worthing Hospital after Spice of Life shut its doors. We were helping to get the restaurants and their kitchens ready to open again under new tender, with improvements for staff.
As part of their renovations, the hospitals plan to introduce 24-hour rest areas. These will have vending machines where staff members can buy meals that can be reheated at times to suit their shift patterns.
With a fast yet efficient turnaround from the initial enquiry to completion, the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust was delighted with our deep cleaning service. It took our team of 10 people 60 hours to thoroughly clean each hospital’s restaurant and kitchen.
